Shakespeare Shuffle
A Shakespeare class is getting ready to perform several Shakespeare plays when a gusty wind blows all their scripts on the floor! They scurry to gather them up but the pages are all out of order and there is no time to reorganize them. The show must go on! The resulting play is a Shakespeare kaleidoscope that will have you in stitches.
As You Like It
This is a 1950s adaptation of Shakespeare's comedy As You Like It. Duke Senior, banished and usurped by his brother, Duke Frederick, now lives in the Forest of Arden, with his noblemen. Senior's daughter Rosalind has been allowed to remain at court with Frederick's daughter Celia, but she suddenly incurs Frederick's displeasure, and is banished.
Hamlette
If you could imagine crossing the Hamlet script with Star Wars dialogue and throw in a few other comedic changes, this play would be the result! Set in Denmark (like the original cast), Princess Hamlette is depressed. Having been summoned home to Denmark from school in Germany to attend her father's funeral, she is shocked to find her mother Gertrude already remarried. The Queen has wed Hamlette's Uncle Claudius, the dead king's brother. To Hamlette, the marriage is "foul incest" and must be remedied.
